The Best Merch For The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025

The original pieces Scotland, Wales and England fans need to get their hands on

From pitch side to pub screen, if you’re watching any of the Rugby World Cup matches this summer you need to be suited with the statement support and style of your team. That’s where we come in, to provide you with the best, original merchandise. This isn’t about overpriced team jerseys- think rose bucket hats, daffodil dragon hoodies and thistle earrings.

Sadly, however, there are still few pieces catered to the women’s game. Feel free to re-wear these elsewhere, or complain- but don’t shoot the messenger, as we agree with you for an increased need of this. Hopefully, when this article rolls around for next year’s internationals, we’ll see a bit more diversity.

What we do have is a variety of originality. The hats are a necessity here, with peak optimism for the English host’s weather, but a dash of reality knowing that they can be multipurpose. Elsewhere, the accessories are broader, and so many of these pieces can be worn day-to-day. The summer tournament is set to be hot in weather and drama, so here’s the Her Try merch recommendations for all you Scotland, England and Wales fans. Press the item titles to find out more…

The bucket hat- a timeless staple for summer and rugby. But how can it be even more iconic? Make it a Cabbage Patch x Red Roses affair. Although not officially sponsored by the team, it resembles everything related to England Rugby and was introduced during the Women’s last international match. Whatsmore, the Cabbage Patch’s influence as THE Twickenham pub makes it prominent enough. This reversible bucket hat features a white side resembling the pub logo in English red, and a more exotic side clustered with Red Roses on a white background. The perfect way to fight the heat and the opposition supporters. It comes in at £20 and is available online at overrock.uk or behind the bar at The Cabbage Patch.

Wales- Dragon Hoodie

Looking for something subtle (isn’t every Welsh fan)? This hoodie is the perfect piece for in and out of the rugby. It comes in three colours- grey, black and red if you’re looking to make yourself seen in the crowd. The independent-made hoodie pictures an embroidered Welsh dragon with a little twist. The creature, named Doti, wears a daffodil around her face and is made locally. If the daffodil isn’t for you, Doti is also available individually on hoodies, t-shirts, and fleeces. Coming in at £32.99 (exc. delivery), this is the perfect original piece to support your team and local businesses.

Scotland- Thistle Earrings

If you’re heading somewhere after the match, (or just don’t want to wear a huge thistle on your face), these earrings are perfect. The sterling silver studs are embellished with gold details on the flower and might even manifest a gold performance from the team. They are hypoallergenic and allow you quiet allegiance with a stylish genre of the team emblem. For only £8.95 (including shipping), you can wear the flower and support independent businesses with pride. They are also available as drop hook earrings if that’s more your style.

England- Crotchet Rose hair clip

Inspired by Abby Dow’s first cap crochet roses, why not wear your own. These are a great option to make yourself or find online. Although these aren’t directly affiliated for rugby use, it’s safe to say the supporters that get it, will get it. These clips come in two colours that will match the white and red on the Red Roses kit and will stand out with a subtle ode to the W6N top try scorer. They are the perfect accessory to complete your outfit whilst still clearly representing the namesake team. These clips are priced at £3.50 (exc. delivery) and are once again supportive of a local small business. They come in a variety of colours, and if clips aren’t for you there are other options across the Etsy site.

Wales- Dragon socks

Keeping to subtlety, these socks are the perfect oxymoron. Quietly overbearing, striped dragon socks are a must for the Welsh. Inside and outside of the rugby, they show true personality and pride in the country. There’s no better way to combine loyalty, affordability, and practicality than with socks- and it means you don’t have to commit to a full leek or dragon outfit. These local socks are priced at £5.99 (exc. delivery), but if stripes aren’t for you, they also have a heart dragon design. If matching your child is more for you, you can also buy these in kid’s sizes.

Scotland- Tartan scrunchie

Prove your loyalty isn’t elastic with this tartan scrunchie from Made My Maman. The suitably named, ‘Mama Lassie’ Scrunchie is built from a dark green and blue tartan to perfectly resemble the Scottish team and history. The large scrunchies have got more volume than the Murrayfield crowd, and conveniently come with a small opening at the seam so you can adjust it to suit your hair thickness. What’s more, the UK-based small business gives a percentage of all sales to PAYPRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide) meaning you’re supporting your team, a small business, and an important charity. If navy and burgundy match your outfit more, this and other tartan styles are also available. The tartan scrunchies are priced between £24-£25 (exc. delivery).

England- Rose Hats

You may think we would suggest a cowboy hat for England, but until the Red Roses ones come on general sale, we have a bolder option. The rose hat. There’s no better way to distract your competitors and stand out with the best outfit. Plus, it will blend in with the sunburnt faces! We have found this giant rose headpiece from an independent Essex based shop, available for £8.99 (exc. delivery). It even comes with a green stem hood for the full effect!

Wales- Rugby Dragon Cap

Not everyone wants to wear a huge daffodil hat to show support (although they’re definitely the minority) so if practical caps are more your style, this corduroy one is perfect. The embroidered dragon and rugby ball gives all the fiery spirit of Wales Women’s, without you having to step foot on the pitch. This hat lets you show fans whose side you’re on, whilst also proving you’ve got great hair underneath. Available in black and navy, this independent, made-to-order piece comes to £28 (exc. delivery).

Scotland- Flag Socks

Get ready to sub in (for the bar queue) with these Scottish heart Wacky Sox. With so many fans wearing replica kits, why not complete the look from below the knee! These unofficial knee length sports socks will represent the Scottish team (and your ability to run for a pint faster than Francesca McGhie). They are designed with the flag in a heart over the navy, light-blue and white team colours. The micromesh air venting qualities allow breathability which means they will be perfect for the summer tournaments, and you can re-wear them for your own matches. With this design starting at £12.95 per pair (exc. delivery), the independent UK shop can also offer you a thistle design from £9.95 per pair (exc. delivery).

England and Wales- Odbballs

Now if you don’t already own OddBalls, I’m not sure you’re qualified to be reading this, but regardless it’s time to get your lucky pants on. Maybe Wales’ wooden spoon is because you haven’t been wearing them, or maybe the Red Roses luck will run out if you don’t wear a pair. While we don’t recommend you showing these off in the crowd, they’re an essential for Wales and England fans, and you’ll be supporting a great charity. By buying OddBalls, you’ll be helping the company to raise awareness of testicular cancer and support The OddBalls Foundation. This underwear comes in every style you can think off, using different colourways to scatter the WRU and England Rugby logo’s across- just maybe don’t wear white trousers with them. The price varies between £7.80 to £16.00 but get them now and you might just be in time for the sale.

Scotland- BawBags

Don’t worry Scotland fans, you can also get your lucky pants whilst helping a great cause. This underwear from BawBags helps a business that has been supporting several charities since 2007, whilst also making a conscious effort to raise awareness for testicular cancer and to check your baws! The Scottish brand presents you with a variety of underwear to support Scotland Women. Get a pair of emblem briefs with colourful strips, or a pair of more subtle tartan logo boxers. Take your pick from this vast range with prices from £7.50 (exc. delivery) and get your secret weapon ready for the summer (p.s. they’re comfier than face paint and way easier to wash after a big win).
